Update!

Six months have passed since my last post on the my blog....oops! That being said, CJ Photo has undergone some big changes over those months...and what better time than the present to fill you all in?

I am now a current resident of Fort McMurray, Alberta! As such, CJ Photo has re-located up here with me...but Central Alberta clients, have no fear! It is still my intention to continue to accept bookings in your area as much as possible, but please note that the availabilities will be more limited...and unfortunately, I will have to become very firm in collecting retaining deposits.
For those of you currently in Fort McMurray, I am offering both day time and evening sessions to better accomodate your fluctuating schedule and/or shifts!

I have recently had requests on my Facebook page and via email in regards to fellow photographers working with me as a shadower or second shooter. Yes, I am definatly willing to work with new photographers...if you are interested, don't hesitate to send me an email or message via Facebook and we can make something work and discuss details!

CJ Photo is coming up on the one year anniversary, and I am very excited about it's growth so far...I look forward to seeing what the upcoming year has in store for CJ Photo! Thank you to all of you for your continued support throughout the last year, none of my accomplishments would have been possible without the help of all of you!!!

Seeking models for creative sessions!

Over the upcoming weeks I will be conducting several creative photo shoots to be used for promoting CJ Photo! As such, I am in search of several models who are comfortable in their own skin and of age (as I am not sure yet what the session will entail!)

Models must be outgoing, creative and up for anything! The session will be free for the participating models, and prints or a disc will be available for purchase by the models once the session is completed and photos are ready!

Last Chance To Book Before Pricing Update!!

I would like to take a moment to extend my thanks to all of those who have supported Charissa Joy Photography in the beginning months! Your support was never unnoticed, and helped me get where I am today!

Due to the continued growth and popular demand, effective October 1 new pricing will be put in place. As such, any quotes that have been given will only be valid until that date...and your session must be booked and take place prior to. Anything after October 1 will qualify for the new pricing (to be announced in the upcoming weeks).

That being said, the fall season that is upon us is going to be a busy one! The kids are back in school, the leaves are starting to change...before we know it, Christmas will be here!! If you're anything like my mom, that means that you have already started your shopping!! Ladies, why not consider boudoir photos for that special someone this year? OR, guys...are you stuck for ideas for her this year? Pamper her with a spot in one of our boudoir marathons and make her feel like a goddess!!

For the month of September, I am offering a back-to-school special for those parents who are opting for more personal photos this year! Only $50.00 for half an hour of shooting time with me! (All prints are according to "a la carte" pricing, e-mail me for details!)

It is also time to start thinking about Christmas card photos! Take advantage of the low pricing of $150.00 (up to 4 family members) before October 1! Email me today to discuss booking!

Now offering daytime appointments!

It has been a very busy month for CJ photo, and judging by the date of my last blog post...it shows! As such, I am excited to announce that to better suit your needs and accomodate your schedule, I will now be offering daytime appointments for all sessions!

Maternity Shoot With a Very Dear Friend

This weekend I was lucky enough to be involved in capturing one of my very best friends in a very beautiful state. Shaun and Felicia are expecting the arrival of baby Sienna in the near future (hopefully sooner than later!), and being able to give her the gift of photos was an honor for me! Felicia is the first out of my group of closest friends from high school to experience parenthood, and I wish her and Shaun all the best in their upcoming journey! I so look forward to meeting Sienna, and I will be there waiting to welcome her into the world!

Blue Eyed Babies

A tribute to Grandma

With Mother's Day just around the corner, I was very honored to be involved in providing Chelsey with a tribute to her grandmother. Chelsey requested that we incorporate a favorite photo of her late grandmother with photos of her 3 week old baby Zoe. I hope that Chelsey enjoys the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them, and wish her all the best for her first Mother's Day.
